We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
