People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, 1 “The King of all mankind.” 2 The god of men, 3 "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), 4 Who suggests evil thoughts to the hearts of men -- 5 “Among the jinns and men.” 6

True are the words of God the Almighty.
