Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
