Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
