"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
