The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth; high be He exalted above that they associate With Him! 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful. 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
