Your God is the One God. But the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are steeped in rejection of the Truth, and they are given to arrogance. 22 Truly Allah knows what they hide and what they manifest; surely He does not love the proud. 23 And when it is said unto them: What hath your Lord revealed? they say: (Mere) fables of the men of old, 24 That they may bear their burthens in full on the Judgment-Day and also some of the burthens of those whom they have led astray without knowledge. Lo! vile is that which they shall bear! 25
