Al-Isra 8 of 12
(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 Whoever is blind* in this life will be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray. (* To the truth – disbelieving.) 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 And had We not made you stand firm, you would nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 In that case We would have surely made thee taste the double of the tornment of the life and the double of the torment of death, and then thou wouldst not find against Us a helper. 75 They try to annoy you so that they can expel you from the land. Had they been successful, no one would have been left behind except a few. 76 The tradition of the Noble Messengers We sent before you – and you will not find Our rules changing. 77
