They question you about the Spirit. Say, "The Spirit is at my Lord's command, and you have been granted but little knowledge." 85 And if We willed We could withdraw that which We have revealed unto thee, then wouldst thou find no guardian for thee against Us in respect thereof. 86 Except as a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! His Grace unto you (O Muhammad SAW) is ever great. 87 Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants." 88 And certainly We have explained for men in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying. 89 They declare, "We will never believe in you until you cause a spring to flow for us from the earth; 90 Or, until you acquire an orchard of date-palm trees and grapes, and produce rivers flowing through it; 91 or you cause the heavens to fall down on us in pieces, as you have claimed; or you bring God and the angels before us face to face; 92 or till thou possessest a house of gold ornament, or till thou goest up into heaven; and we will not believe thy going up till thou bringest down on us a book that we may read. Say: 'Glory be to my Lord. Am I aught but a mortal, a Messenger?' 93
