Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]. 52 From Our Mercy We gave him, his brother Aaron, a Prophet. 53 Tell also of Ishmael in the Book. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 And We raised him to a high station. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. These will enter Heaven, and they will not be wronged in the least. 60 Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
