ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
