Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
