Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
