Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
