Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it. 98 Had these (idols, etc.) been aliha (gods), they would not have entered there (Hell), and all of them will abide therein. 99 There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 But if they are averse, then say: I have warned you all alike, although I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised. 109 Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal. 110 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time. 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
