The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 And they who are observant of zakah 4 who guard their privates, 5 Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 who are true to their trusts and their covenants, 8 and who observe their prayers. 9 These are the heirs 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 We then turned the drop of fluid into a clot of blood, then the clot into a small lump of flesh, then the lump into bones, then covered the bones with flesh; then developed it in a different mould; therefore Most Auspicious is Allah, the Best Creator. 14 Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15 Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 And We send down water from the skies in accordance with a measure [set by Us,] and then We cause it to lodge in the earth: but, behold, We are most certainly able to withdraw this [blessing]! 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palm and vines; for you therein are fruits many, and thereof ye eat. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 You are carried by the animals on land and by the ships in the sea. 22

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
