Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
