Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
