Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
