The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
