Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear. 100 Those cities We relate to thee tidings of; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they were not the ones to believe in that they had cried lies before; so God seals the hearts of the unbelievers. 101 and in most of them We found no [inner] bond with anything that is right - and most of them We found to be iniquitous indeed. 102 After those We sent forth Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his assembly, but with it they harmed. Look at the end of the corrupters. 103 Moses said, "Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Universe, 104 One for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about Allah. Now have I come unto you (people), from your Lord, with a clear (Sign): So let the Children of Israel depart along with me." 105 (Pharaoh) said: "If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth." 106 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it turned into a real serpent. 107 And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white (with radiance) for the beholders. 108
