The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
