When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 the nation of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Me' 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" 25 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
