۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
