Al-Munaafeqoon 2 of 2

O believers, let not your possessions neither your children divert you from God's remembrance; whoso does that, they are the losers. 9 And spend on others out of what We have provided for you as sustenance, ere there come a time when death approaches any of you, and he then says, "O my Sustainer! If only Thou wouldst grant me a delay for a short while, so that I could give in charity and be among the righteous!" 10 And Allah deferreth not a soul when its term hath come; and Allah is Aware of that which ye do. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
