Hence, [warn all men of] the Day when the enemies of God shall be gathered together before the fire, and then shall be driven onward, 19 Till, when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins testify against them as to what they used to do. 20 And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return." 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 And that was your (evil) thought which you entertained about your Lord that has tumbled you down into perdition, so are you become of the lost ones. 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost. 25
