3/4 Hizb 37

۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and they have enraged us, 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
