The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
