And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
