The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
