The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
