The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We delivered him and his followers all, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And lo! thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
