The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
