And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
