Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
