۞ God is He that created you of weakness, then He appointed after weakness strength, then after strength He appointed weakness and grey hairs; He creates what He will, and He is the All-knowing, the All-powerful. 54 On the day when the Hour of Doom comes, the criminals will swear that they have remained (in their graves) for no more than an hour. They had been inventing lies in this way. 55 And said those who received knowledge and faith, “You have indeed stayed in the decree of Allah until the Day of Restoration; so this is the Day of Restoration, but you did not know.” 56 But on that day their excuse shall not profit those who were unjust, nor shall they be regarded with goodwill. 57 We have offered every kind of example here in this Qur'an to men. Even then if you bring a verse to them, those who disbelieve say: "You are nothing but a liar." 58 Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who have no knowledge. 59 So have patience. The promise of God is surely true; and let not those who do not believe make you relax (your endeavours). 60
