۞ Say: "I counsel you one thing only: Be [ever conscious of] standing before God, whether you are in the company of others or alone; and then bethink yourselves [that] there is no madness in [this prophet,] your fellow-man: he is only a warner to you of suffering severe to come." 46 Say: "No reward have I ever asked of you [out of anything] that is yours: my reward rests with none but God, and He is witness unto everything!" 47 Say: "Verily my Lord doth cast the (mantle of) Truth (over His servants),- He that has full knowledge of (all) that is hidden." 48 Say, "The truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and it will not come back again". 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will then say: “We believe in it”; but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place? 52 seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away? 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
