Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a straight path; 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
