Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners. 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 So do not let their sayings grieve you. Surely, We have knowledge of what they hide and all that they reveal. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. 80 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 81 His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
