The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
