We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
