Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
