Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
