THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
