Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
