Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 He abandoned his people 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Why do you not reflect? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 can lure away from God any 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
