Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 We glorify God." 166 They used to say: 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
