We did not create this heaven and earth and all that lies between them in vain. That is the fancy of those who denied the Truth. So woe from the Fire to all who deny the Truth. 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 This is a Book which We have sent down upon you, a blessed Book, for them to ponder upon its verses, and for men of intellect to accept advice. 29 We gave David Solomon. He was an excellent servant who always turned to God. 30 When there were shown to him at eventide lightfooted coursers 31 he said: “Lo! I have come to love this wealth on account of the remembrance of my Lord.” And when the horses disappeared, 32 Return them to me!' And he began to stroke their shanks and necks. 33 And, indeed We did try Sulaiman (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasadan (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) but he did return (to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allah and he did return) to Allah with obedience and in repentance. 34 He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower." 35 So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed, 36 and the satans, every builder and diver 37 As also others bound together in fetters. 38 We told him, "This is Our gift to you so give them away free or keep them as you like". 39 He has a high position with Us and an excellent abode. 40
