Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth – this was a miracle.) 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
