Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
